Terms & Conditions

CMPUS is built and operated by Lumora Intelligence in Toronto, Canada. By creating an account on the platform at app.cmpus.ai, you agree to the terms shown at sign-up. This page is a plain-language summary of them.

• Your account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Plans and billing. The Guest tier is free, with a daily limit. Paid Campus Passes are billed monthly in Canadian dollars through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
• Acceptable use. Use CMPUS in line with your institution’s rules on AI. Do not try to get a Classmate to act outside its academic role, to extract its instructions, or to produce unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Your work. What you write and upload stays yours. The platform, the Classmates, and their designs belong to Lumora Intelligence.
• AI limits. Classmates can be wrong. Check facts, figures, and citations before you rely on them. Nothing on CMPUS is professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
• Ending an account. You can close your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
• Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run CMPUS and to make it better. Questions or requests: hello@cmpus.ca.

• On the platform. Your account details (name, email, and sign-in through email, Google, or Microsoft), your conversations and uploads with Classmates (needed to answer you and to carry context between Classmates), your plan and payment status, and product usage data. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Who processes it. The platform is built on Pickaxe infrastructure, and the content of your conversations is sent to the AI model providers behind each Classmate so they can generate a response. We do not sell personal data.
• On this website. No accounts, no advertising or tracking cookies. Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics: anonymous page views, referring site, country and device type, with no cookies. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit.
• Course editions. Faculty views show aggregated patterns for a cohort. They never show an individual student’s conversations.
• Your rights. Ask us to show, correct, or delete your data at any time. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request.
• Who it is for. CMPUS is built for university and college students. It is not intended for anyone under 16.

Cookie Policy

This marketing site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The platform at app.cmpus.ai uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to understand, in aggregate, how the product is used.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancel from your account whenever you like; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. If a charge was a mistake, email support@cmpus.ca and we will refund it.

Academic Integrity

Classmates are designed to support learning: they plan, explain, question, grade against your rubric, and help you practice. They are not designed to produce finished assignments with your name on them. You remain responsible for following your course’s rules on AI use, and we recommend telling your instructor how you used CMPUS whenever a policy asks for it.

CMPUS Classmates support learning. They do not replace your own work, your instructor’s judgment, or your institution’s academic policies. Wellness Classmates are not a substitute for professional or campus mental-health support.
